Carpet World London was founded by Peter North, who has over 40 years of experience in the flooring industry. Peter was one of the first owners of a well-known franchise chain before deciding to go independent and open his own family-run store on Deacon Trading Estate in Chingford E4.
Since leaving college 18 years ago, Peter’s son Scott has worked alongside him, bringing fresh energy while upholding the same commitment to quality and personal service.
Our fitters have been with us for years, and our sales team have become like old friends. That long-term loyalty means consistent quality — every job done right, every time.
Unlike many stores where staff jump on you the moment you walk in, we give you space to browse. Friendly help when you’re ready — no pressure. Pop into our showroom 7 days a week; we’d love to meet you.
